By accessing or using the VELIO platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
VELIO Logistics Group ("VELIO", "we", "us") provides premium parcel delivery, logistics coordination, and related services for high-value goods including fine art, jewellery, timepieces, and haute couture. Our services are available to approved private clients, galleries, maisons, and institutions.
Access to the VELIO client portal requires approval by our team. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
Consignments are covered under our standard Prestige policy up to €500,000 unless a higher coverage tier is arranged in advance. Coverage is subject to the terms of our underwriters at Lloyd's of London. Clients are advised to obtain supplementary insurance for consignments exceeding their selected coverage limit.
VELIO's liability in respect of any loss or damage to a consignment shall not exceed the insured value of that consignment. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss. In cases of force majeure — including but not limited to acts of war, natural disaster, or government action — VELIO's liability is excluded.
VELIO treats all client information and consignment details with absolute discretion. We will not disclose any information about your shipments to third parties except as required by law or customs authorities. All staff are bound by confidentiality agreements.
VELIO does not transport currency, negotiable instruments, controlled substances, weapons, or any item whose transport is prohibited by applicable law. We reserve the right to inspect any consignment where there is reasonable cause for concern.
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
